Please read through the following -
When initially enquiring about a photoshoot I will send out a full Terms & Conditions PDF document via email for you to read through. This is important you read through the list thoroughly to get a good understanding of the services. By booking a photoshoot you confirm you have read through the document and agreed to the terms of service.
Within the documentation you’ll find information regarding all of the following-
Photo Copy Right, Third Party Usage, Social Media, Credits, Post Production & Retouching, Revisions, RAW Photos, External/Client Editing, Styling Projects, Cancellation & Postponed Photoshoots, Expenses, Deliveriables, Electronic Storage/Back ups, Payment, Overrunning Photoshoot, Extras.
Below I have outlined a few key points -
Copyright.
The entire copyright of the Photographs is retained by the Photographer at all times throughout the world. Unless agreed on an all rights basis, and a fee paid. As a client, you are provided with a License to use the photos. Please refer to the AOP - Association Of Photographers Website - https://www.the-aop.org/information/copyright-4-clients
Third Party Usage.
In scenarios where third-party utilisation, such as contractors, architects, furniture makers, suppliers, or estate agents etc ... is envisioned, an additional license is necessary for a fee. If any other businesses or individual would like a copy or to use the images please inform them to get in contact with the photographer (myself) first and I can arrange the next steps with them. Third-party usage is not permitted unless properly licensed. There is a cost sharing option available if interested for any shoot from or exceeding half a day photoshoot.
Raws.
In no circumstance will the raw files be available to the client.
External/Client Editing & Filters.
Please note once the final set of images are sent over there can be no external editing from the client or third parties including the use of filters on social media.
Right To Credit.
The Client will, where possible, ensure a byline accrediting The Photographer appears with all publications, whether in print or online, and furthermore, the Photographer asserts his statutory right to be identified in the circumstances set out in Sections 77-79 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or any amendment or re-enactment thereof. Photos on instagram must be tagged as @jacobmilliganphotography
